Prof. Dr. Emanuel Bratu graduated dental school in 1994 at the Faculty of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy VICTOR BABES Timisoara.

After finishing his scholarship at the Austrian State Clinic of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from 1994-1995, he started his residency at the Clinic of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Timisoara.

In 1997 he became assistant at the Department of Oral Implantology, and in 2002

Senior Lecturer, at UMF Victor Babes Timisoara.

In 2000 he designed one of the first Romanian dental implant systems, Implantim togheter with ORVIT Bologna, Italy

Since 2008 he is the Head of the Department of Implant supported Restorations at the Dental School in Timisoara.

Since 2024 he is Vice Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry in the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Timisoara, Romania.

For more than 25 years he has been teaching Oral Implantology at different congresses, courses, and has trained hundreds of dentists in the field of Implantology, Implant Prosthodontics and Bone reconstruction techniques.

He has published more than 60 articles, several books and was lecturing for more than 100 times nationally and internationally. He is a Speaker for Bredent Medical, Straumann, Zimmer Biomet and MIS.

Since 2007, owner of Dentalexperts Clinic in Timisoara, Romania, focusing on Implant surgery and Implant prosthodontics.

Prof. Bratu is a ICOI Board certified Diplomate, member of DGOI, DGZI and Vice President of the Romanian Society of Oral Implantology and Biomaterials.

His main fields of research are concentrated on implant design, drilling protocols and short and ultrashort implants

He is fluent in English, German and Italian.
